I think everything is going to be ok, as long as I survive this next week, being trapped in a house with my family. Thank goodness for Meagan. Without her, I would surely jump.
If anybody needs to reach me, try the cell phone. By the grace of God, it will be my connection with the outside world. Don't forget me, all!

The Castle Visit
Again, the content of this post shouldn't reach any of my parents, so Anya/Brian/Lindsay/Quinn/Lauren, if you're reading this, consider that your warning.
Anywho, last night was Sarahj's birthday party (the real Sarahj, not "Sarahj" who lives in Florence), and I wasn't sure what to expect. Sure enough, somehow it was decided that we all should go to Castle at 10 pm, because it was Sarahj's 18th and all. So for a good hour, we wandered around this "Super Store" and I can honestly say I have never heard of some of the things I saw there. It was quite a laugh reading some of the titles of the movies aloud. You'd have to ask Kyle which were the top three, because: a) I can't remember, and b) if I could, I wouldn't post them anyway. But seeing Tim in skintight (or what were supposed to be skintight... they were a bit loose and unflattering on his skinny frame) vinyl leopard-print tapered pants. Who in their right mind would actually purchase those, I don't know, but they were definitely some of the most entertaining things in that half of the store.
Today has been much less exciting. I'm sitting here, eating a delicious fudgecicle (i'm not sure how to spell that, but you get the idea), and debating over watching SNL or CSI. CSI wins. I love this- sitting around doing nothing, with no children whining at me, or beating eachother, or me... I could get used to this. -sigh- oh well... Cheers for now!

Party planning at a halt, for lack of oh my god, i just put my hand into a blob of something gross, be right back
ok, back. So anywho, party should be awesome. If you are reading this, though, you are hereby sworn to secrecy automatically, because if I tell anything more before stating this, there's the very real possibility that the plans might reach people who would put a halt to my fun, and that would be bad for the snitch. Party plans are so far thus: Ladies meet up at Sarah's house, and, waving goodbye to our padres, we say we're going to pick up the others. We pick up "Elaine," "Sarahj," and "Zoe." "Elaine" is actually Tim, and "Zoe" is really Brent. "Sarahj" (aka, Kyle) will not be picked up until we get into Florence, and then continue the caravan to Driftwood Shores. There, we shall party the night away! Pizza, birthday cake (and who wouldn't want the birthday cake of the daughter of the Chocolate Guy?), fire in multiple forms, and, of course, the beach. mmm... there's something really relaxing about the smell of a large puddle of briny water and carcasses and ground-down rocks and bits of pickled wood. :)
Sadly, nothing else is even worth mentioning around here. The kids were driving me to the brink of insanity today at work, and because of said work I didn't get to see Kyle when he swung by town... Ok, I'm done complaining, I promise. Even though I can't get Sarah to tell me what Kyle's giving me for my birthday, and it's driving me crazy! He somehow managed to get an oath out of her that she's sticking to, even though she's supposed to be my friend. Turncoat. Oh well, I'll find out in... 15 days? 14 days? I don't know.
That's all for now, so enjoy the update, and if you have any questions, email me. Cheers!

Yay! The party is on! The girls are back in town! Sarah and I were plotting planning today, and I think it will be quite fun. Pizza, cake, bonfire, bagels... We've got it all covered. So excited!!! :)
Sadly, that is pretty much the highlight of my day, or any of my future days, because frankly, the looming family vacation is seeming a bit much for one month (we just got back from San Francisco, and yet here we are, packing for another fun-filled family outing)... I believe I shall take my cell phone to Sunriver with us, and pray for service. Oh please God, let there be a way for me to communicate with the outside world...
That's all for now, and that's probably going to be the story for another week at least... Exciting, eh? Not. Cheers!
